Virtual Space Camp-Out with the Space Center in Houston, Texas

Space Center Houston is running a virtual camp-out on July 11th. This would be a great opportunity for the students and families in our schools to learn about NASA and space while everyone is quarantined at home. No cost to participate, it's just pay what you can.

Virtual Campout
6 p.m. CT July 11

Grab your camping gear and head to the backyard because the night sky is calling us to camp out. During this unique time, Space Center Houston will be hosting a Virtual Campout 6-9 p.m. CT July 11.

Hear from NASA astronaut Dr. Robert Satcher as he shares his mission experiences. Create your own Martian lander, design your own robotic hand, and enjoy a planetarium show. Use household items to make science come to life in your backyard!

Ordinarily, Space Center Houston's Campouts are paid programs.

We recognize the financial difficulties the COVID-19 crisis has created for many people, and we want everyone to be able to participate and enjoy these educational and fun programs without price being a barrier.

As a result, we are offering this Campout to anyone who would like to participate and ask you pay whatever you are comfortable paying.

Please register for this amazing event soon. We can’t wait to see you under the stars!
