About the School

We are located about 13 miles east of Muscle Shoals, Alabama in the Brick Hatton Community. Our school serves about 230 students in Pre-K to 6th grade. Many of our students' parents also came to Hatton School when they were a child. Our goal is to care for every student each day so that they will come to school and be ready to learn.

Vision Statement

Hatton Elementary exists to prepare students to apply what they have learned, to problem solve, to gain learning experiences through positive reinforcement, from teachers who are effective role models, and with the cooperation of community collaboration.

 

Core Beliefs: 

Hatton Elementary believes all students:

  • must be provided a safe learning environment;

  • have the ability to learn;

  • must be afforded an opportunity to excel in learning;

  • and shall have their academic, social, and emotional needs met.
